With nearly four decades of real estate starting back in the 1980’s here on the island of Alameda. Graduate of Encinal High School after being raised overseas and living a military life where my father was in the US Navy. My husband is a retired Coastie, we have 4 children and 12 grandchildren. Being a military brat taught me to be flexible, resilient and adapt to whatever life throws at me. I have a very supportive husband who backs me on whatever project I do. Art and I started our family business, Custom Moving & Hauling, in 2017 with a passion for
helping folks through complex times in life. As Certified Senior Move Mangers®, we specialize
in supporting older adults who are going through home transitions and/or downsizing. We have
provided guidance and moved hundreds of Bay Area families into their “rightsized” home while
helping disperse years of belongings and clutter. This process is accomplished through our in-
house sorting, packing, floor planning, moving, and hauling services.
Andriana also founded Sensational Seniors Workshops in 2021 as a way to give back to the
community. These in-person events provide valuable information on healthy aging, empowering
adults for a happier life, whether staying in place or transitioning homes.

In his 31st year as an attorney, Mr. Silverman is co-owner of the law firm, Silverman & Jaffe, a
Professional Corporation. The predecessor firm was R. Silverman Law Group, in which Mr. Silverman
operated as a sole practitioner.
Silverman & Jaffe currently consists of an excellent group of professionals, including Jonathan
Jaffe, Esq., Mr. Silverman’s co-owner, four paralegals, an office manager and an administrative assistant.
Mr. Silverman and his staff concentrate on matters involving trusts and estates, including estate
planning, trust administration and probate. The firm’s primary focus is on comprehensive estate planning, directed toward wealth preservation and enhancement. Mr. Silverman has helped more than a thousand individuals and families establish meaningful estate plans for the benefit of their families, loved ones, and charities.
Mr. Silverman also represents clients in connection with certain real estate matters, including
residential and commercial purchase/sale transactions; intra-family deal structuring and real estate gifting strategies. In addition, he helps his small business owner clients with their basic business needs, and he works closely with corporate and labor & employment counsel on more complex and specialized issues.
Mr. Silverman’s brings to his law practice invaluable practical experience, including having held
professional positions in the fields of real estate brokerage, property management, franchising and
business. Before opening his own law office, Mr. Silverman was a partner at the law firm of Silverman & Silverman (the other partner was his father, Donald Silverman, retired) in Alameda; and served as “Of
Counsel” to several local law firms.
Mr. Silverman has the following educational degrees: B.A. in Psychology from the University of California at Davis; and a Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
His professional affiliations include membership in the Estate Planning Council of Diablo Valley (Past
President) and Contra Costa County Bar Association. Mr. Silverman has also been a licensed real estate
broker for many years. He volunteers as a professional advisory board member and planned giving committee member for several charitable and non-profit organizations.
Mr. Silverman is most delighted with, and proud of, his wife of more than 34 years and his three wonderful, adult children.
